Welcome to the region's first Snow School, the ideal place to
learn, refresh or improve ski and snowboard skills safely and under
perfect learning conditions. Our multinational team of professional
instructors has the skills to teach in many different languages and
satisfy every learning style.
Ski Dubai Snow School's emphasis is on fun, and in the process
guests will learn skills suitable for all ages and abilities from
beginners to experienced skiers and snowboarders.
The Snow School offers a private slope for beginner and level 1
lessons to allow learners to develop effective skills in a
controlled environment where safety is a priority. Intermediate
skiers and snowboarders are instructed on blue and red groomed
runs, reached via flying carpets lifts and the Express chairlift.
For those with more experience or at expert level, more challenging
areas are available such as the Freestyle zone, temporary race runs
and the world's first indoor run.
Lessons
Group Lessons:
- An excellent way to learn. Maximum 8-10 skiers/snowboarders of
the same ability in a group
- A professional ski or snowboard instructor assists the group
for 1.5 hours on the slope: warm up, practice in accordance with
level of the lesson, have fun, and receive individual tips to
improve skills
- Adult groups of less than 3 people receive equivalent
instruction of 1 hour.
- If you are a beginner, group Discovery lessons of 60 minutes
are available for a first lesson of beginner's programme.
Private Lessons:
- Designed for people who would like their own personal or small
group instructor for a 1 hour lesson or more, ranging from
beginners to experienced skiers and snowboarders
- Maximum private group numbers are 3 per instructor
Child Programs:
Our ski and snowboard instructors are highly trained professionals
who specialize in teaching kids. They understand the uncertainty
that comes with learning new skills, and encourage and care for
your child every step of the way in a safe professional
manner.
Ski Dubai's unique Polar Bear Club is designed to broaden a child's
imagination while providing a fun environment for developing
skills.
After each lesson at the Polar Bear level, progress is recorded in
a personal passport. When a level is fully completed, learners are
eligible to wear the Polar Bear badge corresponding to that level.
These badges are a reward for achievement and can only be purchased
once the set skill level has been reached.
Helmets are required for children under 13 years and are provided
as part of the rental equipment included in session and lesson
passes.
Snow
School Tips
- Pre-book your lesson in advance
- Arrive on time for the lesson. You should allow at least 45
minutes to purchase your lesson pass, get your rental equipment,
get changed and go to the meeting point
- Dress in appropriate winter clothes or the clothes provided by
Ski Dubai
- Ensure you are well rested before the lesson and are full of
energy

- Step 3: Purchase a lesson pass at the Snow School counter well
in advance to secure your lesson. The cashier will advise you on
your meeting point
- Step 4: Collect your equipment and get changed.
- Step 5: Go to the snow school meeting point where your
instructor will assist and guide you. The meeting points are:
- Meeting Point 1: All Children and adult first lessons.
Location: in the warm area between the equipment rental area
and the workshop.
